What do i do if i left something in a taxi?

You can use the contact form 24 hours a day. It will take up to 48 hours for us to check the details you have provided, usually during the same working day.
Please be aware that you will only receive a response if your item has been found.

It is worth noting that your belongings may not always be left in our taxi. Other places where things can be lost include the train, the street, a pub, or simply being stolen from you.
If you flagged a taxi on the street or at a train station, please be aware of which taxi you actually used. Most taxi drivers operate independently and are only identifiable by their license plates.
Also, there are times when you booked our cab but accidentally jumped into another cab; this happens frequently during peak hours, and we obviously cannot assist in recovering your lost property if you were not in our taxi.
Tips to help with recovery of your lost property:

  • remember which cab you used;
  • write down your number on a few pieces of paper with a short description of the lost property and hand it to the drivers at the taxi rank.;
  • If you paid with a credit or debit card, check your bank statement, which probably contains some information about the driver or the company. Google it!
  • try calling different taxi companies in the area; we want to help you;
  • the next time, use asking for a business card from the cab drivers; it might come in handy later.

In order to be able to assist you, please provide:

  1. Your Collection Address
    We will normally ask you to give us the address the taxi picked you up from. So please have this to hand where possible.
  2. Booking Contact Number
    The easiest way to help us track your lost property is by providing us with the contact telephone number you used to book your taxi.
  3. A Detailed Description
    Please give us as much detail as possible when describing your lost property, this will help us locate it faster.
